Halgo field erected a 350,000#/hr Super Heated boiler at ConocoPhillips in Ponca City, OK. Halgo was chosen over Foster Wheeler due to their ability to react quickly and their technical ability to meet the stringent requirements of triple redundant controls.
Halgo once again, in conjunction with B & W West Point , MS was able to capture a $20MM plus order for six (6) 250,000#/hr S.H. boilers to meet less then 9 ppm NOx at Valero Energy’s Houston and Texas City, Texas Refineries. Halgo will erect the ISBL (In Side Battery Limits) equipment including a sweet water condenser to attemporate the S.H. steam to precise the temperature required at varying conditions.
Amerada Hess placed their confidence in Halgo by issuing us an order for a 250,000#/hr S.H. boiler for their Erath, LA facility. The new boiler will replace a co-gen unit and supply all of the S.H. steam required to maintain the facility.
Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. awarded the demolition of their existing boilers and the installation of two new 40,000#/hr units for their central power plant to Halgo. The contract was both a NOx reduction project and a need for additional heat for the expansion of the University.
Campbell Soup in Paris, TX has awarded Halgo an order to replace the instrumentation and controls for their four existing boilers, this includes adding new Low NOx burners to three of the units. The Project includes removal of the current fuel trains and pneumatic controls and replacing with state of the art PLC based controls.
NASA
/ TORO Energy selected Halgo to install (2) 50 MMBTUH
TODD LoNOx burners at the Goddard Space Flight Center outside
of
Washington, DC. These
triple fuel burners are capable of burning natural gas, fuel
oil, and landfill gas. The system included all new stainless
steel landfill gas piping, TODD Variflame burners, and a highly
advanced Allen Bradley control system. Because the boilers can
burn gas from a nearby landfill, NASA will reap huge fuel savings
and will lower their NOx emissions in the process. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport chooses Halgo to
design, engineer and furnish four high efficiency, compact
ultra LoNOx
9 ppm
boilers for the expansion of the cooling and heating systems
at the Airport. Halgo will use Babcock & Wilcox Type "D" water
tube boilers, over 83% thermal efficiency and Todd Combustion
proven RMB Staged Natural Gas burners utilizing Flue Gas Recirculation
to
control thermal NOx generation.
Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio selected Halgo
to install all the Section I ASME Code piping, the electrical
requirements and Instrumentation and Start-up of their new
200,000 lbs/hr super-heated
1050 psig @ 825 Degree Babcock & Wilcox water tube boiler.
